Re-thinking Waste, Green-Mile Efficient Mobility System

Green-Mile the future concept for mobility are autonomous electric vehicles, provide the opportunities to travel individually or with other people, minimizing the time of the travel as well as the cost in comparison to other public transportation service in Switzerland. Green-Mile provides cars based on commutes’ demands, people can order an autonomous car whenever and wherever they want. These autonomus electric cars are equipped with dynamic charging system that allows them get charged through electric rails implemented on highways while they are moving.

In this Project, through a design process, at first, a waste system map has been generated. Conducting research about waste sources, types of waste, waste created before, during, and after (customer-centric view of waste) consumption, types of waste handling, waste management, waste produced during PLC, and the impact of waste on the environment lead me to create a general waste system map. Furthermore, by focusing on waste in the mobility section and collecting quantitative data about the waste generated in the mobility area, waste resources in mobility, material and energy resources, and mobility impact on the environment we made a mobility waste system map and identified a possible need in the future of mobility. Eventually analysis of input and identify the need leads us to ideate electric vehicles instead of engine cars and Autonomous cars as a new mode of transportation. Finally, we evaluated the situation and see the opportunity in Switzerland and the required policy, requirements, financing needs, and steps to achieving our objective.
